Zara dress | Forever 21 vest & scarf (similar) | H&M leather jacket (similar)

Everything in this outfit is something I’m excited about for fall – emerald, leather, denim (that’s a given), and burgundy (or oxblood or maroon or whatever you want to call it!). My favorite thing about fall is being able to throw on the layers!

+ Pile on open-front layers. Start with a vest. Add a jacket. (I prefer the bottom layer to be slightly longer or at least the same length.) Top it off with a scarf. If it’s really cold, add a coat. The open-front factor makes it easy to shed the layers if you get too warm.

+ Add a belt to keep the waist defined.

+ Mix textures – denim, leather, & just a touch of metallic in the belt.

+ Create an infinity scarf by tying the ends of a regular scarf together and wrapping it around until it’s the length you want.

+ Relish in the fall weather! Not too hot and not too cold.

I hope you guys enjoyed this week. Here’s Part One and Part Two if you missed ’em.

Happy Thursday – it’s almost the weekend!
