Anyone else feel like they’re running around like a chicken with their head cut off? This time of year is my favorite, but it’s always a little insane. I honestly feel so behind. All of my Christmas shopping is actually done, but we’ve had so much going on, I just feel like I can’t catch up – with the house, with emails, with posting, with my to-do list. I think it’s really easy for that to happen this time of year. There’s so much to do and so many people to see and shop for and visit with, it’s easy to forget about yourself – whether that’s your personal routines, your health, your time, or anything else – it’s easy to let it all go out the window.
I’ve partnered with Gap Factory today to create a gift guide filled with things I love. I think taking advantage of the sales and buying a few things for ourselves isn’t the worst thing. Having a festive set of pjs (p.s. the shirt is on sale for $10!) to wrap presents in or a cozy sweater and socks to wear while decorating or running errands makes all of those things just a little more enjoyable. It is the season of joy after all so figuring out small ways to infuse a little more of it into our daily lives is something I’m all for, especially during a time when stress can be a little high.
Beyond the pieces I’m wearing above (which I pretty much haven’t stopped wearing, by the way), some of my favorites include the plaid nightshirt, the striped leggings, the fair isle turtle neck, and the plaid boyfriend shirt.
Everything at gapfactory.com is currently 50-70% off and you can get free shipping on order over $50 with code GFGRAB. So while you’re doing your Christmas shopping, make sure you pick up something cozy for yourself. Because you’re doing your best and you deserve it. And while you’re at it, I also encourage you consider some other small ways you can treat yourself so you don’t burnout before Christmas. Whether it’s taking more time for yourself, slowing down to read a book or watch a Christmas movie, hitting the gym, getting to a yoga class, or taking a hot bath, don’t forget to take care of yourself too.
Thank you to Gap Factory for sponsoring this post and helping support this space!
