Helping Jewels is truly my kind of business. Nycole, the amazing woman behind the brand, designs and hand makes every piece in Southern California. Each design is only produced in limited quantities so it feels unique. I’m wearing the gold choker, which I love because of the subtle sense of style it adds to any outfit, and the birthstone necklace. I’m wearing a raw Ruby for Talie’s birth month, July. These make the perfect gift!

Even more amazing than the jewels themselves is the fact that this brand does so much good. 30% of proceeds are donated directly to Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles to help children fighting rare illnesses. Nycole’s own son was diagnosed with Infantile Spasms when he was only 5 months old, but thanks to treatment at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA, he was cured.

I can’t even imagine what Nycole and her family went through or what any family goes through when their baby’s health is on the line. It’s the most terrifying thing to think about and my heart goes out to anyone who has or is going through something like this. I’m so thankful for people like Nycole who are using their talent to serve a greater purpose. I’m honored to help support her brand and will gladly purchase jewelry from someone like her where I know my purchase will have an impact.

Today, Nycole and I are giving away a $100 gift card to her shop!

Whether you use it on yourself, on a gift for someone else, or both, I’m sure you’ll find something to love! In addition to the gold choker and birthstone necklace, I also love the suede wrap choker, the crescent necklace, and the coin necklace, which is another great customizable gift option.
