We Have a Choice…
I had a different post in mind for today, but I woke up to find out that Jess Ainscough from The Wellness Warrior passed away yesterday. She was only 30 and had lived with cancer for 7 years. My love and warmest wishes go out to her loved ones.
I had been on Jess’ site several times and was a casual follower. The one things that struck me the most is that she radiated light from the inside out. She was a true embodiment of wellness despite her diagnosis.
Jess is a beautiful reminder that no matter what our circumstances are, we get to choose how we show up in the world.
We get to choose what we deem as important.
We get to choose what hang on to and what we let go of.
We get to choose whether to focus on the good or the bad.
We get to choose whether to stand in our light or hide in our shadow.
We get to choose the energy we bring to every situation.
We get to choose love or fear.
How we live this life is up to us.
Life is so short. Let go of resentments, anger, victimization, anything that is weighing you down. Feel the love present within you and spread it to as many people as you can.
We get to choose how we show up to this life.
I’m choosing to stand in the light and I hope you will too.
