i do tuesday: diy save the dates

All photos taken with my iPhone.

Here they are - my Save the Dates! Above are the steps I went through to create them. Thankfully my dad is very methodical, and also a perfectionist like myself (I wonder where I get it from), so he helped me cut the burlap using a wooden template. Using scissors to cut them one at a time would have taken forever. My dad has a commercial flooring business and somehow knows how to do anything and everything so I'm very lucky to have every tool imaginable, a huge warehouse, and his wisdom at my disposal. I did my best to explain how we did it. There's quite a few steps, but it's not very complicated (just time consuming).

The things I needed to make these included:
3 yards of burlap
10 poster boards
Wallet prints from Costco (super cheap!)
Twine

And obviously I used various tools in the process (knife, scissors, glue, etc.).
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Hope you enjoyed!
