Shoes are an incredibly important part of every outfit. I'm very thankful that my wedding dress ended up being less than half of the budget I had set for it because now I can get some new cowboy boots for the reception. For the ceremony, I'm leaning more towards fun shoes than traditional. BHLDN (a sister of Anthropologie) has such a great variety and they are all so unique. I think my favorites are the blue and white polka dot pair (#1). I love the idea of having your shoes be your something blue.
After cake cutting and the first dance, I'm planning on changing into cowboy boots and hopefully a reception dress. It's so hard to decide which ones I like the best! My friend Monica and I are planning a trip to our closest Boot Barn to try a bunch on and see what we like in person. I think #5 above would be really cute with a white reception dress, but I don't know how often I would wear them after the wedding. I have a feeling I'm going to end up with a black distressed pair like #6. They're a nice contrast to the brown ones I already have. We shall see. Which shoes do you guys like?
