Picking the venue was actually really easy. Coyote Ranch was the first place we went to and I could tell right away it was perfect. The place is huge! It has that rustic feel we want and there are endless possibilities with what we can do. They have been so kind and helpful so far which makes me feel really good about our decision. They are also really flexible in terms of decorations, how we want to lay things out, etc. And there's tons of parking, which is what we need. One of the other big selling points was the price - it's more affordable than any other venue we had looked at so that made the decision that much easier. I am in love with all the trees, the greenery, the white fence, the animals, the barn, and just the overall feel and openness of the ranch. The photos, taken on my iPhone, don't do the property justice. I can't wait to see it in the summer when all the flowers are in the bloom and all the trees are green. I think it will be perfect for us.
Sidenote: Next week I will be telling the proposal story (finally) for I Do Tuesday in celebration of Valentine's Day! That worked out nicely, didn't it?
(We also looked at Castle House and Gardens, which is the estate of a friend of Seth's dad. It was absolutely gorgeous, almost fairy tale like. I would recommend it to anyone; the guest capacity was just too low for us.)

How perfect! I can't wait to see how you decorate the place for your wedding. Loving its rustic charm.
