a few things
Well, we're all moved into our new apartment, and I have to say, I absolutely love it. Above are the few things that actually look good right now. We are mostly unpacked but still have several more boxes to go through and some more things we need to get...like a dresser for me. We have an old one that I plan on starting to paint tonight. DIY project, here I come! I cannot wait to decorate! One of my favorite things about the apartment is the closet because there is so much more hanging space than in my last closet. And we got velour hangers from Costco that are my favorite things ever. No slippage, so much more space, and a box of 35 is only $9.99! Yes, $9.99. Amazing. My other favorite thing is the breakfast bar. It's just so nice to have the kitchen not closed off to the living room.
The past month has been a whirlwind. So many things are happening all at once and there are so many things to do. It's tough to fit everything into the mere 24 hours that make up a single day. I'm dying to take time to sit down and write out my ideas and plans for the blog. My biggest inspiration has come from Victoria, who did an amazing mini-Alt series that was ridiculously informative, inspiring, and motivating (I can't imagine what the real thing was like!). And now she's done it again, but this time she's launching her own company, no big deal. Read about it here. What an inspiration, right?
Despite all the crazy and amazing things happening, I couldn't be happier. Even though some huge changes have happened over the past few months (getting engaged, moving out for the first time ever), it all feels so right. There are definitely times it can be overwhelming, but I know everything will fall into place as it has so far. I'm just so excited for the rest of this year. It really is going to be life changing for a lot of us, and it has already brought so much excitement and happiness.

Your place is really coming together! I have the same hangers and absolutely love them. I had wood hangers before and tripled my closet space when I switched over. Can't wait to see more as you get more settled!
